Psychiatrist, Psychotherapist and Psychoanalyst, in private practice in Cologne after several years of work in inpatient and day hospital, as well as outpatient settings, Scientific Secretary and member of the Executive Board of the German Psychoanalytical Association (Deutsche Psychoanalytische Vereinigung - DPV) from 2016 to 2020, participation in various working groups on clinical exchange, psychotic disorders and current political issues, moderator of an intervision group with a focus on high-frequency treatments. Lecturer, Supervisor and Teaching Psychotherapist as well as (from 2011 to 2017) Library Representative of the Psychoanalytic Institute of the German Psychoanalytical Association Cologne-Düsseldorf. 

My treatment focus is on depressive and psychotic disorders, gynecological disorders and issues related to childbearing and family formation as well as difficulties in development in adolescence and post adolescence. In the course of my work as Scientific Secretary of the German Psychoanalytical Association, I have dealt extensively with various texts, including for the DPV information bulletins and the conference proceedings, and have written the minutes of committee meetings and general meetings. I am excited to bring this experience to my role as Editor for the ejournal Psychoanalysis.today
