Galit Atlas, Ph.D.is a faculty member in the postdoctoral program in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis at New York University. She is the author of The Enigma of Desire: Sex Longing and Belonging in Psychoanalysis and of Dramatic Dialogue: Contemporary Clinical Practice (with Lewis Aron). Her next book The Secrets of Others, on the legacy of trauma, will be published by Little, Brown in 2021.
